Dancercise Kids was founded 20 years ago to provide kids with a fun, innovative approach to dance and fitness. The curriculum developed by Tessa Pfeifer has evolved to include sign language, foreign language and educational themes taught through original music and lyrics, but at the same time providing kids with the tools to stay active and have fun.

Until now Dancercise Kids has operated a mobile program in the Twin Cities and in the Chicago suburbs. But now there is a permanent home in Minnetonka. It could be the perfect place for classes, musical theater, birthday parties and camp.

The grand opening is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10. At the grand opening free Dancercise classes will be offered for kids age 2 to 8. A free music CD will be given away and balloons and treats will be handed out to children (while supplies last).- Compiled by Joe Kieser
