Orono Public Safety report
Orono Police report
The Orono Police Department issued 15 citations between Nov. 13 and 20. Included in the reports were the following: eleven medical calls, five animal calls, five suspicious persons/activities calls, four motor vehicle accidents resulting in property damage, three handgun purchases, two reports of harassing communications reports and one noise complaint.
Additionally, officers reported the following:
Nov. 14 - A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 1300 block of Brown Road North in Long Lake.
- Officers responded to a vehicle fire call in the 1500 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake.
Nov. 15 - A fourth-degree criminal property damage report was received in the 2100 block of Brown Road North in Long Lake.
Nov. 16 - A 47-year-old Orono man was arrested for fourth-degree driving under the influence at Carman Road and Kelly Avenue in Orono. His blood alcohol concentration was .18.
- A property theft report - less than $250 - was reported in the 4100 block of Bayside Road in Orono.
Nov. 17 - A 33-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for third-degree DUI and possession of a dangerous weapon/substance after being pulled over at Livingston Avenue and Shoreline Drive in Orono. His blood alcohol concentration was .12.
Nov. 18 - A 19-year-old St. Louis Park woman was arrested for fourth-degree driving while impaired at Shadywood Road and Shoreline Drive in Orono. Her blood alcohol concentration was .14.
- The department received a report of forged prescriptions in the 1800 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake. The case is under investigation.
- A fourth-degree criminal property damage report was received in the 4000 block of Sunset Drive in Spring Park.
Nov. 19 - A theft of service report was received in the 1800 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake.
- A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 2300 block of Kings Road in Spring Park.
