Health Service Consultants is offering a reduced-cost cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class Wednesday, May 14, at 7104 Ohms Lane, Edina.
The morning session is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the evening session is 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Instructors will train participants using the American Heart Association's Family and Friends course.
This is a community CPR course and does not meet CPR certification requirements of employment or require professional credentials. However, the state Good Samaritan law protects all laypersons trained in CPR. The course is based on the American Heart Association's longstanding guidelines for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care.
Cost is $15.
