Interested in details about the following classes or programs offered by Orono Community Education? Call 952-449-8350, or stop by the office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Orono Education Link, 705 Old Crystal Bay Road, Long Lake.

Online registration is available at www.oronocommunityed.com.

Registration for fall programs is open.

Classes and program updates follow:

- Thursday, Oct. 9 - Dr. David Walsh, Ph. D., will present "Say Yes to No," a program for parents, 7-9 p.m. in the Orono Middle School Auditorium, 800 N. Old Crystal Bay Road, Long Lake. Cost of the session is $5 per person at the door.

- Friday, Oct. 10- Open Swim, 6 to 8 p.m., Orono Education Link, $2 per person.

- Monday, Oct. 13 - Deadline to register for classes and programs that begin the week of Oct. 20.

Youth classes include Girls Only Art Camp (grades K-5), Boys Only Art Camp (grades K-5), Super Sports (grades K-3), Transformers Mask Making (grades 1-5), Creative Dance (ages 3-5), Dance Theatre I & II (ages 5-12), Ice Skating Lessons (age 3-Adult), Kids Smart - Self Defense & Safety Awareness (ages 5-12), Ace the ACT (grades 9 and up) and Drivers Education Classroom Instruction (ages 14 and up).

Adult classes include: Beginning Fused Glass, Stained Glass Open Studio, Stained Glass Panel, Traditional French Cuisine, Clay By Hand, Sign Language for Infants & Toddlers, Photo Retouching & Restoration, and Introduction to GPS.

- Friday, Oct. 17 - No Open Swim.

- Monday, Oct. 20 - Deadline to register for classes and programs that begin the week of October 27.

Youth classes include: Tae Kwon Do (age 5-adult), Spooktacular Halloween Art - Ceramics (grades 2-5), Floor Hockey (grades 2-5), Home School Clay Class (grades 1-6), Awesome Clay (grades 1-6), Basic Lifeguarding Today (age 15-adult) and ACT College Exam Prep Course (grades 9-12)

Adult classes include: Living Will Health Care Directives, Indian Vegetarian Cooking, Body Squad Boot Camp, Intermediate Wheel Throwing, Special Techniques in Digital Photography and Yoga Flow.

- Friday, Oct. 24- Open Swim, 6 to 8 p.m., Orono Education Link, $2 per person.
