A Minnesota Air National Guard helicopter lands in the fields behind Richfield Middle School on Oct. 26. Students had an opportunity to inspect the Blackhawk helicopter up close as part of the National Guard's Drug Demand Reduction Program. The program uses aviation for a presentation about achieving life goals, decision making, teamwork, safety and living a drug-free life style. Piloting the helicopter were Richfield Police Officer Andy Ueland, the school's liaison officer, and Ryan Roberts, a 1997 Richfield High School graduate.
