A holiday time warp
It is Christmas, 1977 at the Richfield History Center. In what organizers hope is the beginning of a new tradition, one wing of the building has been decked out to bring back memories of a 1970s Christmas, when macram/ ruled, and about everything but the Christmas tree was colored orange. The history center plans to pick a different year to bring back each Christmas season. "Richfield Christmas 1977" will be on display Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m.

" What a lame site- really shows nothing about the Richfield that used to be - what is your purpose? There are so many things that are gone from the Richfield that used to be when the service men moved their families to the "suburbs". Christmas in 1977?? What were you thinking - this was the time of the second generation of service families. I am embarrassed to say I grew up there. "
